What is registered apprenticeship? Registered apprenticeship (RA) is structured training aligned with employment into high-skilled positions that take from one year to eight years to become fully proficient.
Known as the gold standard of work-based learning programs, registered apprenticeship (RA) combines earning with learning supported by strong mentorship – learn hands-on from an expert everyday – and wage increases earned throughout the training program.
First and foremost, it's a job, so an individual is employed and earning from day one AND includes a clear career pathway with raises.
At the end of every apprenticeship? Graduates launch their career with post-secondary credentials issued by the U.S. Department of Labor and Commonwealth of Kentucky State Apprenticeship Agency - recognized across all industries and anywhere in the U.S.
And the best part? There is little-to-no college debt.
Almost 90% of graduates stay with their employer sponsor to continue their careers!
